What is the Fullmind LMS?
The Fullmind LMS (Learning Management System) is a dynamic, web-based platform designed to streamline student enrollment and class management. I've Enrolled My Student into their Course(s), What Happens Next?
If a student's availability isn’t provided, Fullmind proactively reaches out to the family using the contact details in the student’s profile. If we’re unable to connect after three business days of email and text attempts, we’ll proceed with the default availability schedule (typically Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 8 PM).
Once a student’s course is staffed and scheduled, everyone stays informed! The student, guardian, school, and enrolling admin will receive detailed emails with the schedule and start date for each enrolled course. Plus, students receive daily email reminders to log in and attend their sessions—helping them stay on track for success!
How Will the Student's Teacher Communicate with the Fullmind Educator?
All 1:1 course enrollments require the student's original teacher to be assigned as a "Teacher of Record" (TOR). The TOR will receive emails when their account is created, and whenever they receive messages from our educators, please inform them to keep an eye out for our emails, and to check their spam folder! How Will Students Attend Their Classes?
The Fullmind LMS is also used by students to attend and keep track of virtual classroom sessions powered by BigBlueButton (BBB). BBB is an open source web conferencing system for online classes. It features virtual classroom platform elements such as a user list, chat, and presentation laid out in a left-to-right format for easy readability. The platform maximizes time for applied learning by enabling students to collaborate and receive feedback in real-time!
What if the Student is Absent?
If a student misses a class, the Fullmind educator will record a mini-lesson covering the topic intended for that day's session, and prepare an exit ticket question for the student to answer. The student is able to review any past session recording to answer the accompanied exit ticket on their own time.
