Sharing IEP information:
Families often want to ensure Educators have access to the student’s IEP or 504 when working with the student. Questions may even be asked about Fullmind’s policies and procedures to ensure student accommodations are being met on the platform.
Suggested Educator Response:
“Thank you for sharing this information with me, as it will help during my instruction with [Student Name]. Can you please email any concerns or materials you wish to be shared with Fullmind. to swd@fullmindlearning.com. The Special Education Coordinator will get back to you shortly.”
Curriculum or Instructional Questions:
When working with Fullmind, many families hope that the student will be able to catch up with their peers so when they reenter the classroom, they will not be behind. Questions regarding the content being covered, how well the student is doing, and communications with their Teacher of Record are understandable but often can impede on instructional time.
Suggested Educator Response:
“I would be happy to discuss your student’s [ area of concern]. Do you
have time to speak at [end of session]? I can extend the session a few minutes to give us a moment to talk in more detail .”
Or
“I would be happy to discuss your student’s [ area of concern]. Unfortunately, I have a session scheduled for immediately after this class, and I want to be sure I address all your concerns. Once we have finished instruction, can [Student’s name] provide you access to the internal messaging system and send me any concerns you may have? I will return your message as soon as I have a break in my schedule.”
Scheduling or Cancellation Concerns:
Fullmind’s policy requests that parents, guardians, and school district administration be the only persons who can submit cancellations or reschedule classes. Parents often let Educators know for efficiency rather than calling into the office. Fullmind Educators are never permitted to work with students to reschedule or restructure sessions. The Fullmind office staff must do this in tight communication with the student’s district.
Suggested Educator Response - Cancellations:
“Thank you for letting me know about canceling the session on [date], I have recorded this in my notes and will be sure to adjust our instruction accordingly. Fullmind requires any cancellation requests to be made directly to the office for recording purposes. Can you please email staffing@fullmindlearning.com to let them know of your cancellation? I will be happy to work with them to reschedule the session for a time that works for your schedule.”
Suggested Educator Response - Cancellations:
“I am sorry to hear about [student’s situation]. Unfortunately, I am unable to adjust the scheduling of our sessions personally. Please contact Fullmind at staffing@fullmindlearning.com or Chat with us and share your request. I will work closely with the office to try to accommodate the changes.”
Extending Services:
Fullmind cannot extend student services unless the request comes directly from a school district administrator.
Suggested Educator Response:
“I am glad [student’s name] and I will be able to continue to work together. If you would like to request continued services, please reach out to your school district contact to let them know. I will then coordinate with Fullmind to ensure we can continue our sessions at this day and time if this works best for you.”
Complaints about Teacher of Record or School District:
Families may have concerns about the teacher of record or the school district contact and share those concerns with Educators. While there could be many scenarios, it is best to use A.I.R. Please follow up with customersupport@fullmindlearning.com with the families' concerns.
A - Acknowledge

Suggested Educator Response:
“I understand how frustrating that can be! While I don’t have any information to help you with that at the moment, I will relay your concerns to Fullmind, and either they will reach out with support, or I will share what I learn next time we meet.”
