What are Session Files?
Session files are intended to provide documentation of instruction and student work. This documentation can include downloaded slides with student annotation, files of completed student work, or other lesson materials. The student also has access to any session files that have been uploaded, so you can use this feature as an alternative to sending files to the student. Session files are located on the same page as the exit ticket, so you can direct the student to them by guiding them through the Student: Exit Ticket How-To instructions.
Why are these important?
Session files are a way for anyone associated with the student to understand what is covered in each session. Admins don't have access to BBB lesson materials, so session files are uploaded to provide insight into instruction.
Best Practices
- During each session, download BBB annotated slides. Please see Educator: How to Download Annotated Slides for further information.
- After each session, upload these slides OR copies of student work (screenshots, worksheets).
- If the student(s) did not attend, upload assigned work or slides from the mini-lesson.
- You will find the session files upload tab in the Sessions Page where you go to set up your Exit Ticket.
